Selected by the Berkeley Tenants ConventionEndorsed by SF Bay Guardian, Green Party of Alameda County, Berkeley Daily Planet, CalDems, Berkeley Citizens Action, Alameda County Supervisor Keith Carson, Berkeley City Councilmembers Jesse Arreguin, Kriss Worthington, Max Anderson, Rent Board Commissioners Howard Chong, Judy Shelton & Igor Tregub, and more.

Tonight the slate is officially sworn in!

Old City Hall
Tonight at the regularly scheduled Rent Board meeting, the 6 of us who were elected/reelected will be sworn in at the beginning of the meeting.

It’s open to the public, come on by at 7pm or watch it on-line, on Berkeley public access channel 33, or listen 89.3FM KPFB.

We won!

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated, came to one of our fundraisers, and of course, everyone who voted for us. We will represent you and all of Berkeley honestly and fairly.

Here are the totals as of 11/19/10, 7 days after the election. These numbers may change slightly.

Name/# of votes/% of total votes
Jesse Townley         17,456        14%
Pam Webster         16,117         13%
Dave Blake             15,784        13%
Lisa Stephens         15,336        13%
Kathy Harr             15,231        13%
Asa Dodsworth        15,022        12%

P.S.- Personal note from Jesse Townley: I’d like to recognize that all 9 candidates who ran for these 6 seats kept personal rancor largely out of the campaign and it was a respectful, straight-forward race, especially in comparison to some of the other Berkeley campaigns this year.
(I’m speaking for myself here, only because I haven’t spoken with my slate mates about this note yet)

Election Day is here!

Today’s the day! Remember, vote SHERRY (the last letters of our 6 names = SHERRY!)
